Asia Buying Trip - Starting out!

I am traveling to Southeast Asia with the hope of finding new treasures for A Gypsy’s Closet. My flight time of a mere 32 hours, departs today at 7AM from Leon, Mexico to LA, then to Tokyo, arriving in Bangkok at midnight February 27.

Bangkok, translates in the Thai language to the City of Angels.

After clearing customs, I walk into the night air and the heat and humidity settle over me like a cloak. A 45 minute taxi ride takes me to the Aurum Boutique Hotel located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, where from my balcony Wat Aurun on the other side of the river lights up the night sky.
